Real Estate Transaction

The Law Office of Marc W. Sargis has developed and currently maintains an extensive Real Estate law practice.  This practice includes, but is not limited to;

• Consultation with clients prior to the sale, purchase, management, development, leasing, financing, and construction of residential and commercial real estate;

• The drafting and review of contracts for the sale and purchase of real estate;

• Preparation and examination of title documents to assure proper transfer of title;

• Participation in bar related title insurance programs which provide title services to the client with the active participation of their attorney;

• Close participation with Realtors and Lenders to insure that the client's purchase or sale of real estate proceeds in an orderly, productive and expeditious manner;

• Participating in effectuating IRS approved property exchanges which minimize the tax consequences on the sale of investment property;

• Attendance at closings to assure the proper transfer of title and execution of mortgage documents;

• Assistance in the conversion of multifamily residential property to condominiums;

• Negotiation and enforcement of construction contracts
